Business Administration

The Department of Business Administration was established in the year 2004. Offering BBA programme with the vision to groom future managers, to combat challenges through relevant business principles. The department has been involved in developing rural students to cope with industry-centric. The department has well-qualified faculties in functional areas like Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing.

The pedagogy of the programme consists of lectures, seminars, assignments, case studies, and project work with an emphasis on practical knowledge. To meet the gap between institutional knowledge and industrial requirements. The Department organizes Seminars / Conferences at both State and National level by inviting eminent resource persons from industries/academics which provide avenues in knowing current scenarios about Business trends and enhance the skills to make students employable in industry and Startups with professional acumen.

• Language Lab to attend Audio – Visual classes.
• Centralized library for referring Text and Reference Books, Journals, Magazines, and Newspapers.
• Internet Lab facility to keep the students updated.
• Seminar Hall to attend guest lectures, seminars, soft skill classes, and other events.
• Auditorium facility to organize Conferences/Symposium/Seminar/Workshop.
• Playground and Gym facilities to keep the students active and physically fit.

• Department has 200 textbooks and 50 Reference books for both staff and students.150 Project Reports as a repository that enables students to refer to taking up live projects.

Classes are engaged to students with the Chalk Talk method and LCD Projectors with PowerPoint Presentation.

• Typing classes for third year students.
• Special class for Slow learners.
• Aptitude classes on Saturdays for final year students to appear in Competitive exams.
• Final year students will undergo one month live project in companies like Nidec India Precision Tools Ltd, Ultra Marine & Pigments Pvt Ltd, Malladi Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Brakes India Pvt Ltd, Hyundai Motors India Ltd, Meinhardt EPCM India Pvt Ltd, The Cheyyar Co-Operative Sugar Mill Ltd, Coromandel International Ltd, Good Leathers Shoes Pvt Ltd, Arcelor Mittal Dhamm Processing Pvt Ltd.
• MoU with Madras Management Association which enables students to attend Online Sessions and attending events with a concessional fee.
• Role play is conducted to improve their analytical, Leadership, and decision making skills.
• A business Quiz is conducted.
• Our faculties have presented papers at Conferences(National & International), and attended workshops, and seminars, FDP’s to upgrade their skills.
