About the Department
The department of commerce was started in 2004 offering undergraduate course B.Com, and the Postgraduate course M.com was started in 2007, In the academic year 2011 M.Phil, & 2019 Ph.D. the course was introduced to the department. We have a competent faculty member with Blending Knowledge and responsibility which has enriched the performance of the students.

Activities of the Department
In order to enrich the students with knowledge and skills, essential to meet the challenges and reveal them in today’s fiercely competitive global business Environment. The Department offers job-oriented courses like Tally, ICAI Foundation, and Typewriting classes.

International Yoga Day Celebration -2023International Yoga Day was celebrated in our college Seminar hall on 21st June 2023. The special class and Demo organized on Yoga which was taught by Mr. S. Sathiyamoorthy, M.Com., M.Phil., MA (Yoga), Yoga Instructor, Assistant Professor in Commerce, APCAS. He has given the great idea and awareness of the importance of yoga and he also instructed various yoga asanas’ for students and staffs. More than 300 students as well as teaching and non-teaching staffs participated in the yoga program and benefited.
